Not That Trainer

Have you or do you know someone who has been approached by a personal trainer on the basis of you automatically need it due to a chronic health condition or disability?

It has happened a lot where people with Chronic illnesses or people with disabilities are viewed as dollar signs and opportunities. Just because someone has a disability or chronic illness does not automatically mean they are unable to manage it themselves and overcome it.

I have been in the wellness industry for over ten years and my number one priority is to serve those who want my help. Not to chase after clients because I think they need it. That is a determination that should be made by the individual, not the trainer.

My goal is to serve those who not only want it but to teach them and to empower them to be able to maintain an active lifestyle on their own. People with chronic illnesses and disabilities have been forced to learn a lot about their condition which in a way makes them the expert over the trainer. The average trainer isn’t going to know or understand the specifics for each condition. Especially with rare diseases and limited mobility disabilities. I am not that trainer who will target someone with chronic illnesses or disabilities simply because I think they need my services.

I have partnered with Adrenal Alternatives Foundation to volunteer my time to showcase the Health Motions Series. Please check out my videos on my home page and please share with anyone whom you feel could benefit from these motions to take back their health and their life.
